In honor of Dental Assistants in our office, we decided to interview them! Here is what they want you to know about them:

Bree Barrett –

  • How long have you worked here, and how long have you been an assistant/edda? Almost eight years.
  • What is your favorite thing about being an assistant? Educating patients, easing fears, and developing relationships.
  • What do you want your patients to know about assisting? Assistants are hear to answer questions, hear and validate their concerns, and empathize with their experiences.
  • What is your favorite thing to do outside work? Spending my time with my family and enjoying outdoor activities.

Juliana Moraes –

  • How long have you worked here, and how long have you been an assistant/edda? Two months & Four and a half years.
  • What is your favorite thing about being an assistant? My favorite thing about being an assistant is getting to do different procedures and getting to know our patients.
  • What do you want your patients to know about assisting? Come in before feeling discomfort will always make your visit more enjoyable, and you’ll be able to be proactive about your oral health.
  • What is your favorite thing to do outside work? Go hiking or attending concerts.

Breanne –

  • How long have you worked here, and how long have you been an assistant/edda? Three years and I’ve been an EDDA for nine years.
  • What is your favorite thing about being an assistant? My favorite thing about being an assistant is providing patients with the best possible care and making their experience comfortable and the best experience they’ve had.
  • What do you want your patients to know about assisting? This is a no-judgment zone. However bad your oral situation is, don’t be scared to come in. I guarantee we’ve seen worse. We just want you to come in and get your mouth healthy.
  • What is your favorite thing to do outside work? Reading and cross-stitch. I also enjoy working out and watching my daughter play soccer.
